Recently, students dressed up as their favorite Tall Tale character for our "Tall Tale Festival" in reading group. Many different characters were represented, including Pecos Bill, Slue-Foot-Sue, John Henry, Davy Crockett, Johnny Appleseed, Stormalong, and Paul Bunyan. Each student prepared and acted out a scene featuring their chosen character. In addition, the students brought in tasty treats for their classmates. What an exciting and delicious day!
